Learn More About Jesus

There is good news for you. The Bible tells us that God is perfectly good and that God loves you. Every person is flawed by a sinful nature. Our sin prevents life God’s way. Yet, God still loves us and offers a way to restore us. God gave His Son to bear the consequences of our sin. As a result, you can life God’s way by believing in Jesus.

How can you believe? By acknowledging and confessing your sin (1 John 1:9). By believing that God is able to make you holy through Jesus (1 John 3:23). By turning away from the sin that separating you from God (Ezekiel 18:30). By expressing to God your desire to be forgiven and made sinless through Christ (Romans 10:13). By trusting that God has given you eternal life in paradise (1 John 5:11-12, Revelation 2:7)

Baptism

Whether by aspersion (sprinkling), immersion (dipping), or effusion (pouring), Trinitarian  baptism is a symbol of the new covenant of grace and signifies acceptance of the benefits  of the atonement of Jesus Christ. By means of this sacrament, believers declare their faith  in Jesus Christ the Savior. Since children are born into this world with natures inclined to sin, and yet the prevenient grace of God provides for their redemption during that time  before the age of accountability, parents are encouraged to testify to their faith in God's  provision by presenting their infant children, according to their conscience, for dedication  or baptism. When any person, baptized as an infant, comes to personal faith in Christ he or  she is encouraged to confirm that baptism by public testimony.

Membership

Why is church membership so important? The Bible talks about how important it is for Christians to live their lives together with other Christians (Hebrews 10:24-25). One of the most important things about us, is that God did not make us to live isolated lives. Instead, God calls us to live life in the context of community. Christian community helps us fight sin, grow in grace, deal with suffering and discouragement, grow in our ability to serve, worship, and so much more (Acts 2:42Hebrews 3:12-14).
